Many say that the best camera is the one you have with you. Judging from our Spring Photo Contest, smart phones can definitely capture gorgeous, creative shots.
We wanted shots that focused on “Reflections.” Our competitors delivered. So, choosing from the top 5 vote getters wasn’t easy. But, photographer Nathan Klok took the top prize – a $100 iTunes gift card. He covered the literal and the figurative in his shot of a dock at Bethel University. The dock reflected onto smooth-as-glass water of Lake Valentine, which was the perfect spot to sit and reflect.
We awarded a bonus prize this time around, too – $25 iTunes gift card – to our top vote getter: Gunnar Stoltz. His photo submission was cool (although we debated if it was reflection or refraction that he captured). Either way, he truly embraced the spirit of a social media competition.
