Believe it or not, September is here and the seasons are a-changing. A big thanks to those who stopped into 8th Street Studio and took part in our Red Cross Blood Drive on September 4. This week in social media, we savored Labor Day, thought about creativity and branding, and shared some of our newer ventures.

In 1802, William Wordsworth composed the sonnet “Composed upon Westminster Bridge.” What did you create over the long weekend?

Notice there are only three questions this week? We created a true day off on Monday — no posting or questions. Whether you used Labor Day to relax or you created memories at the State Fair or at your family’s favorite vacation spot, we hope your weekend was a wonderful one. Thursday was the start of the @NFL regular season. “Are you ready for some football?” is a famous slogan. What other #slogans have stuck with you?

The best slogans not only teach you about a brand and its benefits, they stick with you in a way that defines a product or an experience. Think about it … if I say “What Happens Here Stays Here,” what do you think of? That one made Madison Avenue’s list — there’s much to be learned from studying the greats.

To our Jewish friends, “Shanah Tovah”, which in Hebrew means “A Good Year.” Many are preparing for a new year. What new ventures are you preparing for?

We’re always working on something new here — in recent years, we’ve added some cool services that many clients are learning about and loving. You might know that we can finesse your digital images and help you organize, manage, and maximize your digital assets and resources. But, did you know that we do stunning 360-degree photography? This has been popular for client websites. And, did you know we do fully-functional apps that work on all major devices? Our creative services are designed around what you want and need — and whatever level you choose, you will get a very powerful combination.

An invitation: You can let us know your viewpoint — here, on Facebook, or on Twitter — Monday through Thursday, we pose questions ranging from lighter fare to industry-focused topics. Every Friday we look back at the week. If you are on Twitter, we are @ProLitho —  please follow us, and join the discussion about this week’s #4Qs. We’d also love to have you check us out at Facebook and LinkedIn.
