In this week’s round up, our Twitter and Facebook chatter explored tech talk, including Apple’s new iOS7, software updates, and live streams. Read on:

Were you excited about Apple’s iOS7 announcement? What features did you like?

Apple is doing a mix of catch-up and cool new. Changes include design, a peer-to-peer sharing feature, better radio, and other features. We’re excited about some of the easier camera features to improve shooting and editing as well as organizing from the front end. There are lists out there, in case you missed the announcement.

Do you update software immediately, or do you wait and check feedback first?

It seems the answer to this question ranges wildly — reading the comments of this piece by Lifehacker reveals that some want to stay on top of changes and update every chance they get, while others wait and see what people are having problems. Companies say it is essential to protecting your computer.

Have you ever participated in an online presentation, live stream, or meeting?

An interesting question, because if you caught the Apple iOS7 announcement, you most certainly have and can watch the June 20 broadcast again. And there’s lots more out there.

Do you still have important videos like weddings on VHS tape?

It is summer and wedding season — documenting events is very much a part of life. Experts urge people to transfer valuable footage to a more modern format — for preservation, for space, and for ease.
