The landscape has finally begun to transform from winter to spring. There’s been a lot of change happen and we’ve enjoyed looking around. As always, we do our Friday #4Q’s Round-Up … this week’s Twitter and Facebook chatter explored customer service experiences, learning from webinars and classes, strategies for maximizing social media, and movie buzz. Read on:

What is the best customer service experience you’ve had lately?

At Pro Litho we are passionate about customer service.  Dave Schultz, one of our own CSRs, said this: “Amazon. They take care of it whenever there’s a problem. Even if they didn’t sell it if it came from them they fix it.” And Terry Grau, a digital imaging specialist who has worked at Pro Litho for 35 years and also builds custom bicycles, said this: “Menards in Rice Lake WI. They made sure my lumber was hand picked, every board, before delivery. Then gave me a tip that saved me $100.”

Best tip you’ve gotten from a webinar or class lately?

Mine came from freelance writer Carol Tice — she shared quick descriptions of the differences between social media platforms that Guy Kawasaki shared at NMX. He says Facebook is “for people,” Twitter is “for perspective,” Google+ is “for passions,” and LinkedIn is “for pimping.” Catchy and useful!

What Tweets and social media posts get you the most attention?

Pictures and links seem to catch the most attention on Facebook. Unfortunately, there’s not a magic formula for any social media. But, MediaBistro.com had some suggestions geared to Twitter to help you stand out and connect more often.

Movie you are most excited about in the next month?

Iron Man 3 and The Great Gatsby are both still hot. But, the Twittersphere and our own CSR Dave Schultz are all abuzz about Star Trek Into Darkness. “I’m hearing some negative buzz, but I’m still excited,” Dave told us on Facebook. Forbes staff writer and Social Media Editor Alex Knapp (@TheAlexKnapp) tweeted, “Apparently, when I go see Star Trek on Sunday, it will either be amazing or the worst movie ever.” Thinking beyond this weekend, Henry Cavill (@HenryCavill_Fb) tweeted, “Vote Man of Steel! “What Will Be The Summer’s Biggest Movie? We Place Our Bets”.

An invitation: You can let us know your viewpoint — here, on Facebook, or on Twitter — Monday through Thursday, we pose questions ranging from lighter fare to industry-focused topics. Every Friday we look back at the week and dig a little deeper. If you are on Twitter, we are @ProLitho —  please follow us, and join the discussion about this week’s #4Qs. We’d also love to have you check us out at Facebook and LinkedIn.
