This week’s office chatter has involved a lot of wishing for spring and a lot of cursing of snow. The Twitter and Facebook chatter explored the Masters, working those to-do lists, the art of the email signature, and best website designs for 2013 via #4Qs. Here they are:

Tiger Woods is back to #1. Who do you think will win this year’s Masters?

Things do seem to be looking up for Tiger all around in his world, right down to his love life (new girlfriend Lindsay Vonn has even been in attendance at the 77th Masters). But, as of press time, he was not in the lead. So, we’re good with whoever wins as long as the April snow and ice give way to May flowers. Join us in living vicariously through the Masters coverage.

What’s your philosophy on to-do lists?

Some people love them, some people hate them. I’m with John and Sherry Petersik of Young House Love who believe that they can be an important key to working smarter and not harder.

How do you use your email signature?

It is a bit of an art — and there are some things that can streamline yours. As with any bit of communication, consider what information is really relevant (consider leaving out your name) by observing the three-line rule and balance your personal data and contact details. This easy-but-valuable addition offers an excellent ROI for the time invested.

Have you seen any really outstanding website designs lately?

This is one of those questions with more than one “right” answer. In 2013, web designers have to consider multiple devices among other factors, so this is a shifting time in the web world. Daily Tekk came up with a comprehensive list of the 100 best considering content, design, and style.  No matter what your design, it can be improved with a style guide — this simple tool helps define your look and maintain your brand.
