We’re excitedly awaiting warmer weather and green grass. This weekend, Easter grass and chocolate eggs will have to suffice. This week’s Twitter chatter the role of crowdsourcing in the NCAA March Madness, the eternal question of photography v. Photoshop, organizing digital assets, and picking a favorite Easter treat via #4Qs.

You can let us know your viewpoint — here or on Twitter — Monday through Thursday, we pose questions ranging from lighter fare to industry focused topics. Every Friday we look back at the week and dig a little deeper. If you are on Twitter, we are @ProLitho — please follow us, and join the discussion about this week’s #4Qs. Here they are:

Did you crowdsource your March Madness picks?

If you did, you aren’t alone. The Social media sphere is crazy for basketball right now. Facebook had Duke winning the NCAA tournament while Yahoo.com built a tool to help people sift through more than 9 quintillion possible outcomes.

Fix it in photography or fix it in Photoshop?

This is a question at the heart of our business. And, the answer depends on the goals of the client and the project — we offer a wide range of solutions for photography and retouching.

What challenges do you encounter keeping your digital assets current and organized?

One common one is overflowing information — for some, the answer is in the cloud. We found this helpful to consider whether or not you should journey there.

What’s your favorite Easter candy?

Forbes.com reports that number one is the classic chocolate bunny. Jelly beans and marshmallow Peepsare also popular. On a health kick? The New York Daily News has some ideas for swaps, such as homemade Rice Krispie treats instead of Peeps.
