It is hard to believe that March is here. What does March Madness mean to you and your business? For this creative professional, the madness doesn’t start or end in March — the creative process goes all the time. But, this week’s Twitter chatter — we covered Oscars, Steve Jobs, and back-ups via #4Qs — poses some interesting questions about inspiration, excellence, while revealing insights and structures (like back-up) that support.

You can get involved — Monday through Thursday, we pose questions ranging from lighter fare to industry focused topics. Every Friday we look back at the week and dig a little deeper. If you are on Twitter, we are @ProLitho —  please follow us, and join the discussion about this week’s #4Qs. Here they are:

What was your favorite moment of last night’s Oscar braodcast?

Not sure? Well, even if you don’t want to admit to laughing at a certain Seth MacFarlane moment, there’s plenty to consider. People Magazine always does a great job of sharing highlights and Entertainment Weekly also has full Oscars coverage — we particularly enjoyed the retrospectives on snubs and speeches.

Steve Jobs (whose birthday was Sunday, Feb. 24) defined Apple. What makes for a strong leader?

There’s much debate about what exactly made Jobs such a powerful leader — and even some who question his value as a role model. Few can argue that he lived an interesting life — so, in honor of Steve Jobs’ life and legacy, we enjoyed this talk.

How do you use creativity in your work?

Or, perhaps the question should be, where would you like to use more of your creativity? You could start by figuring out ways to integrate your outside interests. You could use “weird rules”. Whatever you choose, author Marth Beck sees great benefits in using your right brain.
